Southside Serpents 

The Southside Serpents are fictional characters in the Netflix series Riverdale. The Southside Serpents have four tests one needs to go through should he want to join.

These tests are :
1) He must know how to take good care of Hot Dog
2) He has to know the six laws to be part of the Southside Serpents
3) He must retrieve a knife from a rattlesnake's cage and show no fear
4) He must endure physical beating from every present Southside Serpent member to arise as one of them
The test for girls to become Southside Serpents is to do the traditional Serpent dance on stage with a pole.

The current king of the Southside Serpents is Jughead Jones, while the queen is Jones' girlfriend, Betty Cooper. The previous king is known to be FP Jones, Jughead's father, who retired from the position. The next king can only be appointed by the previous one.

Known Southside Serpents are : Archie Andrews, Joaquin DeSantos, Jughead Jones, Toni Topaz, Cheryl Blossom, Sweet Pea, FP Jones (Retired), Betty Cooper, Tall Boy (Dead), Fangs Fogarty, Penny Peabody (Betrayer who left the Serpents for the Ghoulies)
