Snacky Lunch

A snack of small-moderate size, suitable for consumption during the day. Available in and around the bakery section of most Supermarkets. Also accounts for the majority of food available at bakeries e.g. Don Millers.

A must for those mid- afternoon slogs around small high- streets e.g. Luton.
I put my Innocent Smoothie in the snacky lunch section, and left it there for a week.

Dude, this snacky lunch is some tasty shit!

lunchtime snacky

A snack taken in during lunch which either defeats the purpose of lunch, or supplements an existing lunch.
Q: We're going to the store; do you want anything?

A: How's about a lunchtime snacky?

Snackalunch

A meal small enough to be considered a snack. But also big enough to be lunch. This meal is also eaten between 1 pm and 3 pm.
Today I had a hard time deciding what I wanted for snackalunch. Should I have a playabowl with a smoothie or burger and fries with ice cream?

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
