Not to be mistaken as a future-tense optional form of the verb infinitive "to smite", to smotify means to destroy utterly with divine force. It originally comes from a misread bit of linux code: sm_notify_0.

Dave: Did you get rickrolled by Kevin yesterday?
April: Yes, yes I did. We must stop him.
