The social media practice of trying to shame them for not liking or sharing the content

Shame Bait Examples:

-Jesus is Lord! I bet you nobody will share this on their timeline!
-This poor dog is lonely, I hope she can get just one share.

Any post on a social networking site (typically a puzzle, optical illusion, political question, inspirational story, etc.), that asks for the user to share it with friends on the site, with the supposed objective of getting as much exposure or attention as possible. Similar to the "you will die if you do not repost this comment x number of times" posts also seen frequently on social networks.

"Peggy, stop sharing every piece of sob-story sharebait you see on Facebook. It's fake and it's been circulating for years."

Shamebail

When you do something so embarrassing at a party that you discreetly leave before anyone notices.

"Dude we totally wrecked that girl last night"

"I know."

"Where is she, anyways?"

"I don't know. I think she shamebailed before any of us woke up."
