Nerd School

A college which primarily concentrates on teaching science, technology, engineering, and math. Noted for their high acceptance standards, high fail-out and drop-out rates, dearth of female students, and copious consumption of alcohol by students (and professors).

A good indicator of a nerd school is that its name includes the word "Tech". For example: Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Cal Tech, Rensselaer PolyTECHnic, Worcester PolyTECHnic, Massachusetts Institute of TECHnology.

If you haven't been to college and are wondering what life would be like at a nerd school, watch the movie "Real Genius".
Jim: I didn't get a single date in my whole first year of college.
Dave: Of course you didn't, you went to a total nerd school!

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.

Huge. Surpassing normal expectations.
I was fishing with a Spinner Bait and a HONKIN pike came after it and hit it . Felt like a lawnmower running over a brick.
