Sam’s Law

"All political compass charts on the internet are wrong and dumb."

An informal but succinct rule of thumb stating that political compass charts and political spectrums are fundamentally flawed, not useful and should be dismissed or read with healthy skepticism.

Even when driven by formalized questions, the familiar left/right and libertarian/authoritarian axes can’t escape the narrow worldview baked into their design. Complex political beliefs flattened into data points based on arbitrary questions and axes are still opinion packaged as empirical data — and that’s the best they get.
Sam's Law

“I stopped arguing once they pulled out a political compass chart. Sam’s Law applies.”

“When you see three different charts label the same thing as left, right, and authoritarian, remember Sam’s Law.”

Such a Kole-slaw Sam

A sexy sexy man with a distinct woman fettish.

Kole is derived from the meaning of the word kole, which means (to) kole. Meaning its meaning is relative and is selective depending on who you ask. However, being referenced to as a Kole slaw Sam is possibly the worst insult one could imagine, and should only be spoken in dire circumstances. Such as said right after being slapped with a distinctly raw fish.
That one is Such a Kole-slaw Sam, though he may be sexy, has yet to speak to a member of the female species since quarantine.
