An abbreviation for Nobuhiro Watsuki's popular manga series, Rurouni Kenshin. This is Watsuki's first manga. First released in Japan (of course) but later came to the US.

Consisting of twenty-eight volumes, it tells the story of Himura Kenshin, a hitokiri (assasin) of the Bakumatsu turned rurouni (wanderer) in the new Meiji Era, with a dark past and a vow to never take another life.

Now he must protect his friends in the preasent with his reverse blade sword, a Sakabato while trying to attone for the sins of his hitokiri days.
