Roachbaby
An type of bugperson. A roach baby is a person who is entirely pro-corporatist, pro-big tech, and pro-monopoly without even knowing, and has resigned their lives to propagating whatever the current “thing” is and parroting the ideas and beliefs of politicians and/or billionaires. Roachbabies are people who would gladly drink the cockroach milk and eat the cricket paste if a billionaire told them to. They are easily identified by video game attire, such as Mario, Legend of Zelda, or Call of Duty shirts, scrawny arms and limp wrists, a pot belly derived from
consuming only cheap processed food, and a generally deranged look on their face. A roachbaby is completely dependent upon the distractions of technology to function in society. Typically, their moods are dictated by whatever the daily climate on Twitter or TikTok is. They will post incessantly about “the current thing”, siding with whatever the billionaires or left-leaning politicians say, and become violently irrational at any argument against their beliefs. Roachbabies are more likely to engage in polyamorous relationships, often go days, perhaps weeks without showering or performing basic personal hygiene, and refuse any sort of self betterment other than platitudinous “treat yourself” days that involve consuming brain rotting entertainment and thoroughly unhealthy sources of nourishment.
