These are videos in TikTok that displays a person walking around and saying random quotes that expresses relatable experiences or quotes that are made to roast people. The name comes from "Rec" meaning to record and "quote" which means to say something.

npc.abood and npcalee are examples of TikTokers who uses Recquote as their common videos consists of them recording themselves walking with text overlayed usually with emojis.
