Any of various methods of descending a rope using controlled friction.

Please do not rappel unless there is no convenient alternative. At most crags it's easy to walk or scramble down.

(verb) To rappel from a building, monument, or any other anthropogenic urban structure. Some people do this professionally, cleaning parts that can't be reached any other way and doing other stuff of the sort, while others just freak out.

Swedish rappel

While normal rappel is used for moving from a high position to a lower position (e.g. from bridge to valley bottom) in a swift but orderly manner, Swedish rappel is a faster and more aggressive method used in order to achieve the same result.

In order to perform a Swedish rappel, one must:
1. Acquire a length of rope (e.g. two feet)
2. Move to place where Swedish rappel is to be performed
3. Hold one end of rope in hand, let the other end dangle free.
4. Jump

The commitment level of a music artist is extreme, living sometimes a nomadic and taxing lifestyle and spending long days and nights in the studio recording music.

Augusta rappers are artists from Augusta Georgia that shed light on the city with there plateform.

Aspiring Rapper

North American euphemism for a member of the urban criminal class. This unusual occupation is usually mentioned in conjunction with the subject either being slain or being taken into custody for a violent or property-related crime. A relative of the subject usually points out that the subjects demise or incarceration comes at an extremely inopportune moment, ocurring just as they subject was "turning they(sic) life around."

Special K Icey Eight had a checkered past, but his mother insisted he was a "good boy" who was just turning his life around, when the aspiring rapper was gunned down by a homeowner after breaking into the house via the kitchen window.
