Quixotist 

A Quixotist is a person characterized by idealism, enthusiasm, or an impractical pursuit of noble and chivalrous goals, often to the point of being considered unrealistic or romantic.

His Quixotist nature led him to pursue justice even in the face of overwhelming odds.

Derived from combining the words Quinn and cultist, carrying the one. Quitist.

Sounds like it looks, means what it says.

n. a cancel culture advocate; a quitter of human beings and disciple of Zoe Quinn; a doxing expert; a victim-blaming gaslighter; any person, often with thousands of social media followers, who utilizes tactics of intimidation, brigading, emotional manipulation, public shaming, deceit and obfuscation on social media to cancel or suppress dissent, dissenters, bad behavior, unethical practices or criminal activity; what one becomes as a consequence of victim culture; a PC member of the "word police" deciding for others what words to think with, write with or say, who, ironically, never critically thought about the meaning of words like "lack," "ethics," "fascism" or "bully"; the smallest, punkest, white knight lovin' quickly-qualifying-for-winning-entry-as-the-first-time-ever-worst-n1663r-in-the-world in the white category, global class; a cyber bully of the First Order.

1. Named after the classic litereary character Don Quixote, it means to pursue ideals without any thought to practicality.
