Pulling a "Jimmy" is usually referred to as the easiest and laziest way of performing a task or job. Most generally individuals pulling a Jimmy cut drastic corners just to say they have performed the task or job when they really haven't.

Pulling a Jimmy is when a person knows that he or she has an important event to attend and the night before the big event, they will go out and party too much. The next day while nursing a bad hangover the person in question will decide to blow off the event due to "Pulling a Jimmy". It is named after a person named Jimmy who has been known to do this numerous times.

Jimmy is invited to his 40th Birthday BBQ. The night before he goes out and gets smashed. The next day he decides that he is much too hungover to attend his own Birthday BBQ. So jimmy himself is again Pulling a Jimmy.
