In the event of a truly torrential downpour, actual cats and dogs can fall out of the sky. This effect is sometimes known as pugcipitation. The animals falling out of the sky must include pugs, or this term is not apt.

Pugcipitation can be a part of a Torrent of Toys, but cannot make up a torrent on its own.
