Prayer Meeting 

A phrase that means ‘a group of people passing around a joint or sharing other drugs’, used to conceal their true intentions. Also called: Adult Prayer Meeting.
*Dad and Uncle Tim are walking out to the shed*
Kids: “Daddy, where are you and Uncle Tim going?”
Dad: “Were gonna have a Prayer Meeting.. you kids go in the house.”
Kids: “But we wanna pray too.”
Dad: “This is an ADULT Prayer Meeting.”

Prayer Meeting 

When a group of people are collectively embarrassed and simultaneously bow their heads looking intently down to avoid any uncomfortable eye contact.
Two minutes into her presentation, the boss made five untrue statements causing those in attendance to hold a spontaneous prayer meeting.

Quaker Prayer Meeting

A very silent group of people. Often used to describe the silence that befalls a group after some profound news is revealed to them, or when faced with a bewildering situation.
The party sounded like a quaker prayer meeting after Charlie announced he had cancer.
