A gesture to how difficult it can be to try to balance pursuing your own and your party’s goals with people with pleasing enough of your constituents to get reelected

Representative Titus is walking on a political tightrope when trying to support certain ideas being pushed by her party as it may make it difficult for to get reelected in future elections as she might lose support from some her constituents depending on what issues she supports.
