Get the pliance mug.To make plans with the intention of canceling or never following through. Often used if the planceling party is not quick enough to come up with an excuse. Sometimes both parties plancel, and no meeting is intended, the future event is just a social gesture.

A long term, serious partner would be considered a Priance at the point of which both parties had a general understanding of the fact that they would someday be engaged to be married, but are not quite ready yet and there is no ring.
