The anxiety that arises from one's perceived sense of having too many plans and/or social/familial commitments. Tends to flare up around special events and the holiday season. No known cure.

She sincerely meant to attend the five Christmas parties she was invited to that weekend, but her planxiety flared up and she ended up watching an entire season of Grey's Anatomy instead.

pangxiety

Being afraid of da dentist or syringe-wielding doctor.

Thanks to modern anesthetics and ultra-sharp hypodermic needles, many routine medical procedures involve little or no pain anymore, and so there is often little need to feel much if any pangxiety.
