an insult evoking the likeness to a watermelon made of penis. delicious perhaps for some, but generally thought of as spoiling a delicious summer treat

in conjuction with the term dicktree, the word can be used to describe a man and his son who are both very annoying or mean (this suggests that prickermelon is the natural fruit of a dicktree)
