Ombré

A hair color. Sorta brown, kinda blond. A lot of girls dye their hair this color and IT IS ANNOYING when they try to explain it but have no clue what it really is and only did it because everyone else is. Can't you just say brown or blond? No. It must be ombré.

Normal girl: what color did you dye your hair?
Popular girl: ombré
Normal girl: WTF is that
Popular girl: it's kind of brown ish kind of blond ish but brown at the same time but also blond.
Normal girl: err... Okay. I just look it up on Urban Dictionary... Um.. Thanks...

Ombre 

A French term meaning "shaded." Usually a multicolored stripe, with colors graduating from light to dark. The color effect, generally produced by arranging different tones in the warp.
This is often seen in hair, clothes, or even art.

Girl 1: Damn gurl your hair looks awesome.

Girl2: Yeah betch it's the new Ombre look. Be jealous.

Ombre 

Ombre is normally a word used to describe a hairstyle typically dark roots, and light ends as the OG but any colour goes! It's Similar to a balayage hairstyle but more straightforward and you can still choose where to start your colour from but it's normally the ends of your hair.

"Girl! Your hair looks gorgeous with blonde tips"

"Yeah, I decided to go ombre instead of completely blonde. So much more low maintenance"

"And looks gorgeous!"

Ombre 

Ombre's are mysterious girls who are often misunderstood in the eyes of people around them. They have few but very close friends who mean the world to them. Very artistic and gamer geeks. They have a dark aura around themselves even though they try to be as positive as possible (this fails 60% of the time.) They will stand up for their beliefs however not always for themselves. They are modest even if they do not see the beauty or talent they posses. Observant and peaceful. If you meet an Ombre, be sure never to let her go, she could be one of the best decisions you've ever made.

Person 1: Wow, do you see that girl?
Person 2: Yea, what's her name?
Person 1: Ombre.
Person 2: As in the colour?
Person 1: Dude, don't say that, she hates that xD

ombre hair 

Ombre hair refers to hair color fading from dark to light, or vice versa. Instead of the color starting from the roots, it gradually becomes lighter, or darker, towards the ends. The word "ombre" in French means shadow or shade. Think Sarah Jessica Parker in Sex and the City, Rachel Bilson, Whitney Port.

Friend 1: "Did you notice all the celebrities are letting their roots grow out?"
Friend 2: "Yes, that's called ombre hair!"
