Nightskin

Formerly a term of offense used against blacks, now used in reference to a powerful race of dark skinned individuals. It was first brought to light by tiktok user @tonyweaverjr, who piloted a reclamation of the word and incited the start of an entire community of writers, artists, musicians, and others who create empowering content for the fictional universe.

Nightingale syndrome

The Florence Nightingale effect is a situation where a caregiver develops romantic feelings for their patient. Many often misunderstand the term to mean the opposite; that is, a patient falling in love with the caregiver as a result of interpreting an amiable bedside manner as affection.
