Founder of Narcotics Anonymous

Jimmy K. (Kinnon) founded NA in 1953. Back then it was illegal for addicts to meet under Any circumstances! So they met in church basements, etc., out of the public eye. In 2012, there were Over 62,700 meetings Worldwide in Over 142 countries! If you have a layover at the airport, you can page "Friends of Jimmy K." & will be met by fellow recovering addicts! This is Extremely helpful if you're having cravings or need someone to talk with who understands. NA has helped Over a Million people! For every person in recovery, it affects 40 other people!

Narconstipation

Narconstipation = Narcotics + Constipation

Medically termed: Opioid Induced Constipation (OIC) is caused when pain management opioids such as codeine, dihydrocodeine, tramadol, buprenorphine, dilaudid, methadone, diamorphine, fentanyl, morphine, oxycodone, or hydrocodone cause an unwanted blockage due to the opioid biding to the mu receptors in the GI tracts and slowing down gut motility which causes the fecal matter to be retained and more water to be reabsorbed which then makes it more difficult and painful to excrete.

AKA: Percocet-Poopless, Nothing-But-Fentanyl-Farts, Oxycodone-Ouchies, Codeine Crapless, Deuce-less Dilaudid, Norconstipation (Norco + Constipation)

Narconstipation: It's not the shit.

Me: Doc, thanks for the pain meds. They are helping out a lot after this surgery. But damn, I'm backed up. All I want to do is shit and I can't. What's the deal?

Doc: Oh, you gots the narconstipation.

Me: WTF?

Narcotecture

Narcotecture - n. - (nahr-coh-tek-shur)- The style of structure (most commonly large residences) built by large-scale distributors of illegal narcotics. This style includes many exits, ostentatious extravagance, and other features that are either practical for a fugitive or large-scale drug dealers or classic signs of nouveau riche. Common in illegal narcotics hubs such as Bogota, Colombia, and Kabul, Afghanistan.

Narcoliteracy

A cognitive impairment in which you randomly fall asleep while reading any type of literature. The period in which the subject sleeps is roughly around 15 to 30 minuets. It will kick in while reading any type of novel, newspaper, or short story. It will also occur during tests/reading exams. Less than 1%of all humans have been diagnosed with this impairment and there are no known cures. It is highly suggested that people with narcolituracy should only read in uncomfortable positions or stick with books with more pictures than words for this raises chances of staying awake.

Jimmy flunked his final reading exam because his damn narcoliteracy kept acting up.

Narcotics Dial

A step up from drunk dialing ... a narcotics dial is when you've just been released from the hospital and are experiencing excruciating pain and nausea despite the (Percocet, Delaudin, other narcotic) you received, and dial your ex while you're out of your mind and leave an incomprehensible, nonsensical message or worse yet, you actually speak to him or her and have no idea what you actually said.

After I was released from the hospital for kidney stones, in a Delaudin haze, I actually thought it would be comforting to talk to my ex, so I Narcotics Dialed him and left a rambling message. I'm not surprised that he didn't call me back.
