Napolean Complex 

Otherwise known as Little Guy Syndrome.

Small men in stature that feel that they are considered less than the average sized men who are larger in girth and height; thusly causing themselves to continually display their machisimosims in order to prove their worth and maintain an illusion of "larger than life".

That guy sure has a Napoleon Complex! He's like a "Jack Russell" terrior that thinks he's a lion.

Napoleon Complex 

A short person who feels inferior because of their size. They tend to take it out on other people and thrive on power trips. Shouting at others, especially when they are in a position of power, is common. Side affects include short temper, power trips/power-hungriness, anger issues, and often a bad sense of humor.

Mr. Weissman (Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School) has the biggest Napoleon Complex ever...well, almost. He's the perfect example. Ask any of his students.

Napoleon complex 

Mark Van Vugt found evidence that when short males received clues that they were physically outcompete by other males, that a Napoleon complex tended to kick in. If that were true, couldn't a guy with a Napoleon complex just destroy the evidence of it by trying to outcompete another male opponent the same way? And wouldn't that make everything a little bit darker and more difficult to determine who had a Napoleon Complex and who didn't (male or female, since his study wasn't conducted on females) ?

Napoleon Complex is two words anybody can choose to describe anybody else with, regardless of their physical size, strength, ability, intelligence, or any other attribute. I can do it, you can do it, it's just talk.

Academic Napoleon Complex 

When students who attend a small college insist that their school is academically superior to bigger universities, when in fact their SAT scores and acceptance rate proves otherwise and their school is just not any fun.

Several students who are bitter about not getting into the state school they grew up supporting who now attend mediocre liberal arts colleges are prone to showing signs of an academic napoleon complex.
