When someone who is not Desi/South Asian tries to explain a concept or offer an incorrect pronunciation to someone who is South Asian because the former think they know better.
White person: "Would you like some naan bread with your order?"
Desi person: "We don't say naan bread. Naan is a type of bread."
White person: "No, we call it naan bread."
Desi person: "I am Indian. My family is from India. Are you naansplaining?"
