A meme that has a short life span and is only used for a week or two. It has a shorter life span than an average meme.

Oh I remember The Left Shark, yeah that meme didn't last long at all, it was a Micro Meme.

A micromoment is 1×10^6 of a moment (SI Standard prefix "micro" = 10^6); that is, one-millionth of a moment.

The time it takes to suck a piece of boba from a bubble tea container using the straw is exactly one micromoment.

Synonym for zeitgeist.
Portrays the same meaning as zeitgeist but in more modern language, in ways more applicable for shorter time periods.

"The story captured the macromeme of the late 1990s"
"Isolation was a key characteristic of the macromeme of 2020 and 2021"
