Rap music produced and/or promoted with the intention of going viral and becoming a meme. Can refer to a single song, or to the entire identity of the artist. Most commonly distributed on the internet via youtube and often uses humor and subtle self-parody. Notable examples include the south korean artist PSY with his viral music video "Gangnam Style". Another example is the South African rap group Die Antwoord whose fame became viral after the release of their video "Zef Side" on youtube.

Next year coachella will be 80% meme rap.

I dont listen to music often, but when I do, I prefer meme rap.

A sub-genre of rap which usually indicates having sex with another individual. This is usually what the entire song is about. For example, the song "Subway Sexists" is one of the most popular meme rap tracks.

My favorite meme rap song is Oops! by Yung Gravy.

For instance,the hit song from PSY’s “Gangnam Style” just feels so 2018 and memey,and the actual creator of the meme rap was by Ray William Johnson.(A.K.A Your Favorite Martian.) He confessed this in his youtube shorts channel,Ray William Johnson.
