As an aside, the name is also given to those who may be suspected reincarnations of God himself. That's right, Mannan is the man upstairs... that's him, and he's the best, though pretty bad at the whole "God" thing.

manganoke

Manganoke (漫画の怪) is a full colored anime-like manga instead of the traditional black and white manga styles. It was created by manga artist Michiru Bokido. 漫画 meaning "manga", の "no" grammatical preposition, and 怪 "ke" meaning spirit/strange.

Manganoke is weird because it's like reading an anime instead of an old-fashioned manga.
