One of the best friends you’ll ever have. So good you’ll definitely fall in love with her. She’s shy at first and not particularly good at socialising but in spite of that she has this natural, charming character that you just wish everybody was like her. If that was the case, the world would be a much better place; she is the most caring person you’ll ever meet, somebody to lean on when you’re going through tough times. Apart from that, she’s the best chef ever. Mariana
Mariana is a quiet but loving person. She knows just how to brighten up your day and makes you feel like the most important person in the world to her. She has many talents and great features to her that’s more than just physically. If you ever find a Mariana treat her like your world because I promise you she’ll do everything she can to make you the happiest person and no matter the situation she’s always going to make you her number one priority. If you have found one like I have don’t ever let go of her because she has so much to offer and it really encourages you to become better for her. Striver
The striver is an interesting phenomenon that is seen across college campuses. In essence, the striver is an over-achiever who comes from a working or middle class family. He may be an immigrant. The striver is willing to sacrifice his social life at the expense of Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. The striver is the guy who stays at the library long after you are gone. The striver is the guy who takes 30 credits/semester and considers anything below an A/4.0 failure. The striver doesn't work on campus, he is too busy finding ways to pad his resume instead of working retail or workstudy. The striver lets his grades pay his education by applying to ten scholarships a year.
The striver is a future Soros/Fullbright/Rhodes/Gates/Marshall/etc. fellow. The striver lives to study. For the striver, their fun comes from the rewards they expect to receive in return for their diligence. Be it Law School, B-School, academia, or politics. The striver seeks to find the American Dream through academic success.
