noun; the uncomfortable and sometimes embarrassed feeling one gets while watching a romantic or overly cheesy scene in a film, television show, play, mini-series, or even everyday life. The feeling often results in one having to look away and can accompany a red face.

Orgin: The 1986 movie, Lucas. Corey Haim plays the title role and is given the nickname Leukoplakia by classmates. The term is very fitting as the movie is filled with Leukoplakistic moments.
