Kramnik Kevorkian

Kramnik Kevorkian
(noun)
1. The act of destroying a person in "real life" by relentlessly "assisting" in their death via a sustained campaign of baseless public accusations, harassment, and psychological bullying.

2. To "euthanize" a person's reputation, mental health, and ultimately their will to live, all while claiming you are just "cleaning up the game" or "pointing out statistics."
The term originates from the tragic 2025 death of the "beloved" American GM and streamer Danya (Daniel Naroditsky). For over a year, former champion Vladimir Kramnik subjected Danya to a relentless public "investigation," implying he was a cheater.

Despite Danya and his friends stating that this campaign was causing him "immense pressure and pain" and destroying his mental health, Kramnik continued. After Danya's untimely death, Kramnik didn't stop, instead pivoting to blame Danya's friends and suggest substance abuse.

The "Kramnik" is the accuser who acts as a cold, emotionless "statistician," and the "Kevorkian" is the "assistance" this harassment provides in a person's literal demise.
Example 1:
"He didn't just 'cancel' him; he went full Kramnik Kevorkian on him for a year until the guy literally broke."
Example 2:
Person A: "Why is everyone so angry at Kramnik? He just asked questions."
Person B: "Dude, you don't 'just ask questions' until a beloved person is dead. That's a Kramnik Kevorkian, and it's psychotic."

abandonware

n. software that is no longer sold or supported by the original publisher / developer, often found as free downloads on the internet because it cannot be obtained elsewhere. Not legal, but often seen as morally acceptable because the company that made it is no longer selling the title, nor releasing it as freeware, therefore abandonware is "keeping the game alive", so to speak.
Doom II is not abandonware because id still sells it, while The Incredible Machine is not sold, therefore is abandonware.

Foot prisons

Socks. Annoying, sweat-causing, non-barefoot enducing, everyday socks.
The first thing I do when I take off my shoes, is rip off the foot prisons I had to wear inside them. That's why I prefer flip flops, even in winter!
