Kindertrauma

The lingering feelings of fear or horror provided by viewing inappropriate media as a child. Especially prevalent during the 1980's when the new home media market exploded. Sometimes provided by media for children made unintentionally terrified. Antonym of nostalgia.

I saw Pee-Wee's Big Adventure last night. I still have kindertrauma from Large Marge.
