A JoLynn is a kind of girl who is a pretty tall girl, JoLynns usually have blond hair and hazel or brown eyes. JoLynns can be shy at first but when you get to know them there very crazy! She is a very sweet girl but if you piss her off enough you better hide cause she is a badass when anybody messes with her or her friends. She is a very beautiful girl and can't be beaten by anyone with beauty cause she's gonna win! Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
