While teaching himself how to play piano when he was younger, he soon discovered the many different layers of music, making him want to expand his musical horizons. Born in Mexico, raised in California, then moving to Chicago; Joey Perez was open to the various styles of the those areas. He began to make music his lifestyle by starting to produce various tracks as well as write his own bars and verses on a daily basis.
