When somebody doesn't live up to a deal they made..by saying they would do something n then not doing it. If someone lets u down n doesnt hold true to their word.

Holdout 

A type of weapon in Fallout: New Vegas which you can sneak into casinos and other weapon restricted areas. They include the Silenced .22 pistol, the straight razor, and a few other “stealthy seeming” weapons.

With a sneak skill of fifty or more, you can bring “improved hold out weapons” into these restricted areas. They include most pistols, one handed melee weapons, and explosives.

I was trying to sneak my .44 magnum into The Tops to assassinate Benny, but my sneak skill wasn’t high enough, so I got shot instead.

“Sure, here you go. <keep holdout weapons.>”
