The Hill of the Foreskins, known in Hebrew as Gibeath-haaraloth, was a place near Gilgal where Joshua, as instructed by God, circumcised all the Israelite males born during their forty years in the wilderness. This act of mass circumcision was a renewal of the covenant between God and Israel and signified their commitment to the Promised Land, occurring just after they crossed the Jordan River into Canaan.
...At that time the LORD said to Joshua at the Hill of the Foreskins: “MAKE THYSELVES KNIVES OF FLINTSTONE, AND CIRCUMCISE THYSELVES!!”
