Heal-aholic

Heal-aholic

A person who is deeply committed to healing and restoration in the lives of others. The term combines the word heal with the suffix -aholic, which describes someone strongly devoted to a particular activity or pursuit. A heal-aholic is someone who consistently seeks to bring emotional, spiritual, or physical healing wherever they go, often dedicating their time, energy, and compassion to helping people overcome pain, brokenness, or hardship.

The word is often used to describe individuals who believe strongly in restoration, wellbeing, and helping others become whole again. A heal-aholic may be found in professions or communities focused on care, support, counselling, ministry, or personal development, but the term can apply to anyone passionate about helping people recover, grow, and thrive.

Example:
"She spends so much time helping people recover and rebuild their lives — she’s a real heal-aholic."
Example 1:
After overcoming many personal challenges, he became a heal-aholic, dedicating his life to helping others find healing and restoration.

Example 2:
She’s such a heal-aholic — she’s always encouraging people, lifting them up, and helping them move forward in life.

Example 3:
Some people chase success or fame, but a heal-aholic is driven by a passion to see people restored emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
