When you have a falling out with your friend and they go to your mutual enemy to talk trash about you, all of a sudden they seem like insufferable besties when they hated each other just a few months ago.

"Whoa, why is Terry hanging out with Katy now? I thought they hated each other!"

"How did those two get so close so fast? Last I heard, Jeanie and Rose were sworn enemies!"

Hate dumping is the act of repeatedly and relentlessly voicing hatred or disliking for a particular person or group, often for petty or highly subjective reasons. It is often done to recalibrate drama or make someone angry for entertainment or social acceptance.

The term was coined by underground American rapper Lxrd Wykea in May 2026.
