Harlequinism 

A political stance with the belief that clowns, mimes, circus folk and harlequins in general don't have the rights they deserve.

Harlequinists are the people involved. They believe they are superior to non/anti-Harlequinists. Founded by Harley Quinn in 2009.

Harlequins 

1.comic characters, usually masked, dressed in multicolored, diamond-patterned tights, and carrying a wooden sword or magic wand.

2.an awesome theatre troupe, led by their fearles leader, kevin b. the unending awesomeness cannot be described in words. you have to see it to believe it. It is filled with creative people from around the city of Chicago, and you are bound to laugh a LOT! it consists of the most caring people you will ever meet.

2."Did you hear about the new show Harlequins is putting on?" "Yeah, I saw it! It's really good! You should go see it!"

Harlequinic 

1. Clown-esque or un-ordinary.
2. Standing out in a way that is non-conformist, especially to express mockery towards an audience perceived by the non-conformist to be conformist, disingenuous, or otherwise exceptionally robotic in thought, attitude or display.
3. Of or having qualities of the category of harlequins.

"You people are LIFELESS!" the harlequinic man declared, and began juggling ice cream cones and offering licks to all around in between tosses - while humming something from Metallica in a very harlequinic fashion.
