The act of having made claims with malevolent intent in the past.

She bragged that she was going to Harvard. But I found out we were simply hamstuck to make us feel bad. In reality, she didn’t get into Harvard and was waitlisted at Hondros community college. That is sooooo socio.

Hamsticking can also be a situation where a individual with low self esteem throws themselves at another persons boyfriend, girlfriend or significant other trying to hijack their affection

Oh my god dude. As soon as she found out the math tutor had a girlfriend, she hamsticked him. Luckily she is so beat up and cringe that the Math tutor didn’t take the bait.
