halfpster

Literally a half-hipster. Usually, a true hipster will not admit to being one to preserve their social independence and obscurity which makes it difficult to pinpoint the difference between hipsters and halfpsters. Many people are not prepared to fully commit to being so superior and hip all the time, causing many people to be classified somewhere within gray area of halfpster-dom. Halfpsters can be identified by the presence of some mainstream music on their playlists, occasional appearance of branded clothing in their wardrobe, and general denial of being wholly and truly hipster.

Hipster Friend: What is this Flo-Rida doing on your iPod? You know how over-produced his stuff is.

Halfpster: Yeah I know, but I like that song. Sue me.
