To complain in a superficial manner, when one is really just boasting.

I have to wear my wedding ring or else I just get hit on too much. I'm not actually annoyed, I'm just grumblebragging.

GrumbleBoat

used to describe either;
a) a male/female with an horrificly ugly face or
b) someone with an angry face similar to a gurn

derived from two seperate cockney rhyming phrases;
1)Grumble=Grumble and Grunt=Cunt
2)Boat=Boat Race=Face
so the translation is clearly cuntface...

'look at the GrumbleBoat on that...she was grim!'

'That dude was livid, he had a proper GrumbleBoat on him'

Grumble brag

When a person, often intentionally, uses a complaint about their wealth or good fortune as a thinly veiled opportunity to boast about it. Related to humble brag, backhanded compliment

"I can't believe my father-in-law left his brand new luxury car to us when he died. It's such a hassle dealing with all of the paperwork."

"Please. Stop. I can't stand how your grumble brag is pulling at my heartstrings."

1. Is Jess up yet? No he is grumblebugging and wont be up for at least another hour.

2. After two long hours of Grumblebugging I decide breakfast in bed was the best option and call my wife
