gerrymentia

When a legislator gerrymanders so much, they forget what district they belong to.
“There goes poor Rep Schroer, suffering from gerrymentia. He’s gerrymandered so much, he doesn’t even know what district he lives in anymore.”

Gerry's Moustache

A moustache of legendary power and definition, it was once believed to hide the eighth wonder of the world. One legend says that his mother actually gave birth to the moustache and that it grew Gerry.
I heard Chuck Norris shaved once... from the loose scraggles of unkempt hair that fell on ol' Chuck's floor grew a man. That man was Gerry's moustache.

Gerry Ford

A person who rises, undeservedly, to a position of authority, usually as a result of another's demise. Also know as a Paterson.

Jeff: You see the guy taking over for Spitzer as our Governor?
Pete: What's his name?
Jeff: I don't know, but he's a total Gerry Ford.

Can also be used as a verb.

Data Gerrymandering

Intentionally changing what the data actually show to fit a claim furthering an agenda. Anytime someone ignores, suppresses, or alters findings, results, data or statistics to fit their agenda. This could be media skewing a graph to hype fear (ex. of violent crime, drug use), politicians ignoring data needed to accurately assess a policy (ex. Lead in the water), social scientists beefing up a study's results to be published, companies claiming a product is safe (ex. Pharmaceutical clinical trials), and everyday users of Twitter who offer a "poll" to show what 'everyone' thinks.
The graph showing the increase in violent crime nationwide was obvious data gerrymandering because the statistics were only taken from the cities with populations over 1 million.

The Senator was gerrymandering data when he said that giving ex-felons the right to vote would mean all the convicted terrorists will be able to cast a ballot.

pulling a gerry

When someone bikes an incredibly long distance from his house in an urban area and locks the bike up on the sidewalk. You and your friends all over 21 and are out of college and this guy still bikes everywhere, not answering his cell phone so you don't know where he is or when he's getting there. You then hang your head in shame and pretend you don't know him.
Friend on bike: "Hey guys (sweating profusely), is the bar closed yet, I just biked 12 miles to get here.

You: "OMG dude, you have a car and are 24 years old, and yes! The bar is closed; it's 2:15AM.

Friend on bike: Damn, I’m gonna start biking home now.

Drunk Friend: Oh god, he is always pulling a gerry!
