gorenography 

A genre of film focusing soley on showing brutal gore and in which plot, story, and characters are secondary or nonexistant. Gorenographic films often claim to be horror films, but are completely different because they are not actually frightening, just kinda sick.

Don't waste your time on seeing Silent Hill, it's just gorenography.

Gorenography 

A subgenre of Ecchi (Japanese Animated Pornography) that usually involves the characters involved cutting each other apart with sharp instruments. The gore in such cases are incredibly excessive, and can even include young underage girls.

Goreography 

Gore for the Sake of Gore in a horror/thriller movie. This word's origins are fairly unknown, i first came across it in the Icons ( on G4 ) episode of Eli Roth the writter and director of 'Cabin Fever' and the 'Hostel' Series

Gornography

Modern shock-horror entertainments that focus on displaying scenes of extreme violence over any sort of linear plot in the same way pornography focuses on depicting graphic sex rather than trying to tell a story.

Adam thought the movie crossed the line from a monster movie into gornography when they cut out the protagonist's eyeball with the dull, rusty scissors.
