Engnui

Not all fans of English football will know the word “ennui” which describes those feelings of listlessness, boredom & general dissatisfaction with life when nothing interesting is happening. All fans of English football, however, have experienced Engnui. The English national team play a boring game of football during an intensely meaningless period known as the ‘international break’. The Premier League is temporarily suspended. This creates feelings of intense listlessness, boredom & general dissatisfaction with life among football fans. The Premier League football, gives our lives hope and meaning, is removed & then replaced with the horror of a ‘friendly’ international: we football fans have all suffered Engnui.

A very deep and generalised boredom with one's life.
Some high-schoolers may think they are suffering, because they're "bored and do not want to do their homework"...Yes well it's deeper than that, so no you're not suffering.

Comes from the french word ennuyeux, meaning, boring/annoying

Ennui Kissinger

Obscure 90's band had a minor hit with the funk-tinged dancefloor rave-up "Limestone Willie." Band had distinctive stage presence in tuba player Sergio and go-go dancing guitarist Gretl. Members later appeared in such bands as the Dirtminers and Catfence.

"Obsessive? He spends all his time looking for old Ennui Kissinger albums!"
