people of Indian origin. The word is derived from the phrase "dirty curry" and implies that all Indian
people eat curry and maintain poor personal hygiene.
This term is most commonly used when a person becomes overly frustrated with when dealing with a person of Indian origin.
This term is often used to describe
people of Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Hindi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Meghalayans, Mizo, Tripuri, Manipuri, Naga, Lepcha(Róng), Arunachali, Tamizh, Telugu, Kannadiga and Malayali decent.
It is not appropriate to use this term when referring to
people of aboriginal decent.
