Man: Yeah, my girlfriend was on the rag, so I had to pull a Dexter Morgan.
Friend: That must have been like a murder scene.

Dexter Morgan

The Main protagonist in showtime’s brilliant drama/crime show “Dexter” that ran from 2006 till 2013. He is a blood spatter analyst for Miami metro pd (pretty sure that’s right) and part time serial killer and any time his “dark passenger” takes control he finds a well known sleazebag POS criminal and kills them. He lived in Miami Florida with his son harrison but migrated north after some trouble with his weird ass girlfriend or something (it’s been years gimme a break) and is now a lumberjack. Watch dexter new blood to see what dexies up too these days.
Joey Quinn: yo Dex
Dexter Morgan: fuck off

Dexter Morgan

Widely considered as a sociopath or messed up obsessed psychopath who is obsessed with cooking red meat beefs. He turns into a monster(he calls his killer instincs as dark passenger) after experiencing his mother's brutal execution with chainsaw made by drug dealers in a container. In my opinion Dexter's last season was full of disappointment and his behaviors on last season were against the nature and definiton of a psychopath. So my personal opinion is he is a pure sociopath. BTW His son is a real pimp. Except from the last season, it's totally a masterpiece and you should read the book of show.
Jacob: I love Halloween. The one time of year when everyone wears a mask not just me.
Mark: Patrick Bateman?
Jacob: lol, Dexter Morgan.
Mark: Difference?
Jacob: At least he does not slay innocent ladies.
Mark: Lol, 'innocent ladies'
Jacob: Shh, don't give spoilers.

A lighthearted reaction upon receiving disappointing news of some sort. Usually something that isn't a particularly a big deal, esp. when it primarily affects someone else - sort of a mild schadenfreude. Sometimes doubled or tripled, and possibly said in a sing-songy voice for added comedic effect to imitate a muted trumpet, which is how the meme originated.

Surf Dracula Syndrome

A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.

For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode. However, the entire first season would instead be tedious padding and backstory before finally ending with Dracula surfing in the last five minutes of the season finale.
I watched "Smallville" on Netflix the other day. Dude, it was ten seasons of filler before he finally flew! Major Surf Dracula Syndrome!
