Denihilism

A subset of climate denial based on the notion that because humanity will eventually face extinction or massive death in the distant future it's morally acceptable that it occurs sooner rather than latter due to current overconsumption. It invokes the naturalistic fallacy as a means of free riding on future generations.

In a discussion on a carbon tax, the denihilist pointed out that like all species, humanity's extinction will bring about a "better" and more advanced race. I called out his denihilism.

The belief that the internet is God and that the internet holds all the answers to life and creation. Denihilism believers spend their entire lives browsing the internet and never stop. They have multiple Tumblr and Twitter accounts for each of their multiple personalities and genders.

Person: I just spent the last 12 hours browsing the internet on tumblr and google.
Person 2: Oh really? Would you like to join denihilism?

The denialism in much of America has convinced many Republicans that Liberals are dependent on federal government. But in reality the Liberal states pay hundreds of billions of dollars per year to help assist their ungrateful political opponents.
