Darelle Revis

Definitely one of the 2 true lockdown corners in the NFL today. Known to shutdown any reciever in coverage, often being left out an an island to do so, with little to no safety help. A one on one matchup is referred to as being welcomed to "Revis Island", since Revis completely shuts one corner of the field down.

Can also be used to refer to a friend who chills in the corner of the bar/club all night and keeps to himself, instead of talking to females. Inserting your buddy's last name before island can also be used as a diss to his game.
Wow Kevin's still got that corner of the club on lock, kinda looks like Darelle Revis over there. Welcome to Seeger Island!

darrelle revis

Starting Cornerback for the New York Jets Football team. Reps the #24, is definitively the best corner in the NFL behind nmadi asomugha after shutting down andre johnson and randy moss in consecutive weeks without safety help. He is still young and went to his first pro-bowl in 2009, and should be headed to many more in his long career ahead.
Dude, yesterday at my game i had a 3 interceptions, 1 returned for a touchdown, 6 tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble.
What are you darrelle Revis?

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)
