Another pointless stuff in Castlevania II like TAKE MY DAUGHTER , PLEASE !!,
a guy tells you this :

DON'T LOOK INTO THE DEATH STAR, OR YOU WILL DIE.

Ok, there is no DEATH STAR in Castlevania II or any other STAR...

Does he mean Death Star from STAR WARS?

What the hell does he want from us?
There is no answer...
