Countersight 

Countersight refers to a set of tactics/methods used to deceive or mislead an attacker, by hiding the true intentions or actions of the defender. These tactics may include trail obfuscating, honeypots, or other forms of misinformation, aimed at confusing or distracting an attacker from the defender's true objectives.

The cybersecurity team employed countersight techniques to fool the hackers by creating false leads and honeypots to protect their network.
