Conanism is a name given to the brand of comedy of Conan O'Brien by Rolling Stone Magazine in 1996. Conanism can be used to describe internet comedy like Chuck Norris facts, rickrolling, absurd slideshows, fake news, or criticizing comedians in sports blogs because they use their shows to talk about how much they love a particular team when nobody cares.
Conanism is characterized as: bizarre sketch comedy, weird stuff, he auditioned himself, the funniest moments are when someone is acting foolish and hurts their self, and NBC has terrible security. That begs the question of, "Where's your sword?"
